Matt Thompson title=

Matt Thompson

Matt Thompson is a singer/songwriter who draws inspiration from a love of acoustic blues, rock and traditional country. He takes these influences and morphs them into a unique and interesting style he likes to call his own. He struggles to tell a story with honest emotion and confronts the task with a combination of rustic yet sometimes crushing acoustic and electric guitar.

On "No Death Rattle", with the subtle tweaking of Hal Hixson, Matt's straight-forward style and crisp vocal delivery are layered with light keyboard and percussive strokes to create a full picture for the listener.
